NEWS.PPE allows conference sysops to change the NEWS file in their own conferences. If the news file in a conference has the same filename as the one in the main conference, only a Primary SysOp (security >= 110) can change it. Non-SysOp users see no change in the NEWS command. This is revision 2 of the PIN.PPE that I wrote. It adds more security, and a couple of different utilities that also increase security. The PIN information is now stored in a TPA you install in your user records. It keeps ANYONE (including the Sysop) from knowing PIN numbers.
