This policy describes cookies and similar browser technologies used by the Veleno BBS web portal.
You can accept all optional technologies, reject all non-essential technologies, or choose categories individually. Strictly Necessary technology cannot be disabled through the consent panel because it is required for authentication, security and core operation.

The Synchronet authentication code uses a session cookie to create, validate, refresh and destroy authenticated sessions. The portal also contains browser localStorage/sessionStorage use for visual theme state, mobile controls, radio state and related interface preferences. Some optional modules may load third-party resources or embeds.
Your selections are stored in your browser under veleno-consent-v1 so the portal can remember the decision. This record is necessary to respect the choice you made. It contains category choices, a policy version and the time the choice was saved; it is not used for advertising.
You may reopen Cookie Preferences at any time from the footer. You can also clear site data using your browser. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent essential authentication/session functions from operating.
If you enable External Content and use a feature supplied by another service, that provider may receive information such as your IP address, browser information and request metadata and may use its own cookies or storage according to its policies.
This policy should be reviewed whenever new analytics, advertising, embeds, external media or other browser-storage technologies are added to Veleno BBS.
